Benefits
The following benefits are provided by the Messaging System.
Efficiency
The E-mail & Collaboration System can increase the efficiency of an organisation and its workforce.
- Efficient messaging.
- Reducing the time it takes to manage e-mail messages with self organising mailboxes, message tagging and virtual message views.
- Reducing the time it takes to find old messages with instant message indexing, advanced search and retrieval tools using a rich meta-data set and stored searches.
- Active Message content. E-mail messages can automatically pull data from other sources like databases, external web sites (currency conversion, maps, parcel tracking, etc.) and link to other systems (telephone system, CRM system etc.).
- Fast Context switching. Reducing the time it takes to switch between e-mail, contacts and calendar. For example, when an e-mail meeting request arrives, you can instantly check your calendar and make a decision on your availability. When somebody sends you their new mobile telephone number by e-mail, you can add it to your contacts without opening your address book.
- Automated trash collection. Trashed and junk messages are automatically deleted on schedule.
- Efficient Planning.
- Efficient meeting planning and allocation of people, locations (e.g. meeting rooms) and shared resources (e.g. company car, projector).
- Efficient calendaring. Schedule re-occurring events such as meetings, anniversaries, reminders etc.
- Efficient Management.
- Efficient message storage. Only one copy of a message and its attachments is stored on the server, even if the message was copied to several users' mail boxes.
- Efficient Administration. All administrative functions may be performed remotely.
Cost
The Messaging System can reduce the cost of investment in your messaging infrastructure.
- Software as a service.
- We supply open-source software as a service. This means that all you pay for is hardware costs and our service costs (e.g. consultancy, installation, configuration, support etc.).
- No Licence Fees.
- There are no software or hardware licence fees for the Messaging Server.
- No per-user pricing.
- You may add as many users as you like to your Messaging Server at no extra cost. The more the merrier.

- Freedom of choice.
- Open source software is built upon open standards and the source code of the software is available for all to see. In keeping with this, we will provide you with complete documentation about the installation and configuration of your Messaging System and a log book of work carried out on your system by our engineers.
- So, in the unlikely event that you are unsatisfied with our service, you have the power to change, modify or support the system yourself - or -the freedom of choice to shop around for other service providers.
Flexibility & Extensibility
The Messaging System is a very flexible and easily extensible solution.
- Open Standards.
- All software installed on the Messaging System is based upon open standards. This means that the system will connect to any other software or hardware that supports the same open standards and is therefore easily migratable to and from other open standards based systems.

- The "Active messaging" capabilities mean that the system can be integrated with virtually any disparate information system using web services.
- Scalability & Resilience.
- The Messaging System will grow with your organisation and can run on one or more servers providing you with a scalable and resilient solution.
Security & Management
