Overview
The SMS Server is a two-way enterprise text messaging gateway that runs as a service on Microsoft Windows (XP, 2000, 2003).
A wide range of configuration options enable a whole host of different applications.
- 2-way communication with customers. Send details of special offers to customers and gather responses or feedback.
- Notify staff. Keep staff up-to-date with important business information when they are out of the office or in a meeting.
- System monitoring. Automatically notify engineers by text message in the event of the failure of key business systems.
- Surveys and Polls. Gauge customer or staff opinion on key business initiatives by creating a poll for your organisation allowing one vote per mobile telephone.
- Blogging. Allow staff to contribute content to web logs (Blogs) from their mobile telephones.
- Text broadcasting. Send personalised messages to large distribution lists of mobile telephone recipients.
- Scheduled texting. Schedule messages for transmission at a later date or time to automatically remind staff of upcoming meetings or patients of their next appointment.
- Software application integration. Enable your bespoke and legacy software applications to send or receive text messages via the SMS Server using our web services API.
- Text back service. Enable a text back service for your staff or customers by providing applications like directory lookup where users text-in a name or keyword and receive back a contact card.
- Out-of-office e-mail forwarding. Send e-mail message summaries to staff by text when they are out of the office.
